The following poems are a personal collection of mine, though I do not write them. They are contributions from friend and foe.

WISHES OF THE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUAL.

Yes! Wishes are limitless, they never will,

Bring any inner ecstasy or satisfaction,

And yet people love to wish, any wish,

To satiate their yearning desire.

Oh! Poor tramp, wishes for melodious life,

Victuals, fabric and sanctuary,

But learn by heart, you will never execute,

If you beseech nothing and dream of staying a marvelous life

Beggar you will be for the years to come.

Oh dandy, wish for only corporeal manifestation,

Jeans, up to the minute shirts, pants,

But remember a clean trouser,

Will never broom your unclean psyche,

And thus you remain dandy for the years to come.

Oh, Juvenile lovers, wish for the heart,

Excavate phrases to triumph the opposite heart,

Opportunities you will all the time grasp,

If unsuccessful to convince, you loose your living,

Intoxicating and abusing,

Never will you know the hidden truth of your life,

You remain heart broken for the years to come.

Those are nothing, but an awful song,

Alert now, keep thy wishes out of the way,

Fly high to the stars, parting behind your hyperbolic wishes,

And one day wishes will grab hold of you,

That time you will find harmony and contentment.

You will win the life’s supreme fortune.

Oh! How elated your parents will be,

If you arrange your victory prior to them,

That very instance you will apprehend,

Never to wish for, but to let wish,

Wish for you.

Dreams & Wishes.

This dream has been with me since so long,

I am a fairy with wings and magic

I wave my wand and there you were.

Impossible, it was yet it did come true.

Yes . . . though I never had a wand . . .you came.

I had a wish I thought would never come true

Still upon every star I wished.

I wished in a thousand different ways

But it formed just a single thing -‘you’.

There . . . you entered my life surrounded by a hale of stars.

Your words forms treasures of music,

Yet silence speaks when I am with you.

In your stare, I see thousands of promises.

In your touch, I feel my dreams come true.

And I know what love is.

Your touch lingers in your absence,

Your words rings when I am alone.

All I ever think of is you.

It scared me at first . . . this feeling I had

But now I am secure and contended because you love me . . .

The light rustle of the wind creates music.

It’s yet inaudible music touched my heart

There is still the mystery,

Which binded my heart with yours from the start

And I am then the fairy dancing among the stars.

Shades of Love.

You came like a ghost from the tomb,

Making me against all odds numb.

You made me a complete fool,

With your sweet words - calm and cool.

I nestled in your arms- so tight,

My heart as those feathers light.

You kissed me with your lips,

Till pleasure filled me amidst the ribs.

Oh… to recall how painful

To think of those times- wistful.

Here . . . all alone, my tears roll for your need

For upon your love - I do feed.

For you, your love – I weep and weep

While the rest of the world’s sleep.

I look up, the sky seems so peaceful

The whole world is, but my heart rueful.

I see far from the east- as ever cheerful,

The moon comes bright and full,

With her train of stars, as always faithful

But why not you if your love is heartful?
